PLACING YOUR ORDER ONLINE OR OVER THE TELEPHONE

It is very easy to place order on our website. Just follow the steps below:

Our order acknowledgement email sends out the final details of your order which you have submitted to Nora Living. The order acknowledgement email contains; details of the goods you have ordered, the total cost of the order including shipping / delivery costs (if any) and an order number. The order acknowledgement email is an invoice and acknowledgement receipt of payment and summary of your ordered goods which you should print off a copy. You will need to refer to these details when contacting us about your order.

PAYMENT FOR GOODS

Nora Living will only take payment from your card at the time you place your order for the goods chosen by you. We will contact you directly, using the details provided by you at time of purchase, if we have any problems taking payment from the card details you provide during the order process.

PRICING OF GOODS

Except where otherwise set out in our terms of service, the price payable by you for the goods, is the price given by Nora Living, at the time you place your order.

In most cases the delivery fee payable by you for your order, if applicable, will be that which is given by Nora Living at the time you place your order. PRICING ERRORS ON GOODS

Please note, while we try to ensure that all the prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible. You will then be given the option of re-confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling the order.

  • If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the order process, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you by email.
  • If you decide to cancel your order after we have informed you of a pricing error and you have already paid for the goods, we will give you a full refund as soon as reasonably possible, which will be processed within 4 business days after the notification.

Nora Living Delivery Service is provided by qualified delivery service providers, such as, but not limited to, USPS, FEDEX, and UPS.

We reserve the right to change and update the Delivery Terms at any time and the carriers used may also be subject to change. Such changes made will not apply to orders already placed.

Please be aware that delivery terms are subject to the operational terms of the shipping companies after orders have shipped.

LOCATION OF DELIVERIES

We deliver to the shipping address specified by you when making purchase and Nora Living is not liable for any changes to this address, after the order has shipped.

DELIVERY FEES

We offer free delivery for all our products. However, we reserve the right to change our shipping terms at any time to include delivery fees without prior notice. In such cases, all our sales channels will be promptly updated, and changes shall become effective only after they have been successfully updated on all our channels.

The delivery fee payable by you, where applicable, for your ordered goods, will be that which is given by Nora Living at the time of purchase.

DELIVERY RESTRICTIONS WHICH CAN APPLY

Some of our items are larger than you may expect. Please note, it is your responsibility to check the provided dimensions of the goods before purchasing, to ensure there is enough space at the delivery address for delivery to take place. Please also note that it is your responsibility to ensure prior to assembling that once the product is assembled it will fit into the room of your choice.

Prior to the delivery of goods, you must ensure that there is sufficient access and space to complete the delivery and that all access are suitable for the delivery. You must ensure that your property and the delivery area are safe for delivery staff and is accessible for the carrier services. Please be aware that our shipping carriers only make curbside and door deliveries. They do not go into private properties. It is therefore the responsibility of buyers to make adequate arrangement to receive delivered items at these locations.  

To ensure a smooth delivery of your ordered goods, it is your responsibility to provide Nora Living with as much detail as possible in advance, about particular features of the delivery address which may affect the delivery (e.g. will there be time to unload / load? Are there any height, width or weight restrictions? Are there any parking restrictions? Will the vehicle require a parking permit? Are there any time restrictions? Will delivery be at non-ground floor level? Is access to the delivery location made difficult due to narrow entryways?).

  • If you order online, please leave a note in the “comments” section while placing the order.
  • If you order over the phone, with our sales representatives, you are able to leave a message with them, of the details of delivery access.

If you provide us with incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information / instructions, your items may be returned to us, and your orders will be subsequently cancelled.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERED GOODS AT POINT OF DELIVERY

Delivery will take place at the shipping address specified by you either during the online order process or over the telephone.

You as a consumer are solely responsible for ensuring that shipping carriers are able to make delivery to the specified shipping address and that you are available to accept delivery at this address on the delivery date which will be updated on the carrier tracking information you will be provided by email after the items successfully ship. We will not be liable for any delay in delivery as a result of any act or omission by you.

If you refuse to sign the delivery document (POD), this will be taken as refusal to accept delivery and the goods will be taken away by the carrier service and will be returned back to our warehouse.

Once the goods have been delivered to your specified shipping address, you become the owner and responsible for those goods. From the point of acceptance of goods, they will be at your risk which means you will be held liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction.

DAMAGED GOODS

We advise that any faulty, damaged or missing goods be reported to us online. We also advise that photographic evidence is provided at the point of reporting the fault. (We advise you retain the original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase.)

  • You will be entitled to a full refund or a replacement if the goods are in fact deemed to be defective
  • Please note that photographic evidence may be requested, of any faults or damage reported to us
  • Any damaged goods must be reported prior to assembly.
  • We also advise that you retain the packaging until you are fully satisfied with your purchase

Where it is established that Nora Living or the Carrier is responsible for the damage to delivered goods, we will replace the damaged part/goods or we will arrange a return of the goods for a full refund which includes all amounts you paid for the product.

COOLING OFF PERIOD

You are entitled to a cooling off period of 30 days after the date that the goods are received by you. We advise you to inform us by email or phone during the cooling off period that you are returning the items.

If you have not received the goods at the time of cancellation of the order, and we have not processed the goods for delivery, we will refund to you all the money paid by you for the goods in question including the delivery charges (if any) in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase as soon as possible, and in any event within 7 days of the cancellation being accepted.

If you have not received the goods at the time of cancellation of the order, but we have processed the goods for delivery, and they are in transit, you should reject the goods at point of delivery and do not accept them. In this case a refund will be processed once the goods have been returned back to our warehouse and payment issued within 7 business days.

DELIVERY POLICY FOR ORDERED GOODS

Once you have placed your order online, Nora Living will send you an order acknowledgement email. This will be followed by another email which will indicate an estimated delivery date for your goods to the delivery address specified in your order.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you agree to check the delivery advice email and ensure you will be available to accept delivery of the goods on the delivery date. If you are unavailable, please contact us or our carrier service, to confirm a different suitable date, as soon as possible and, in any event, no later than 48 hours before the planned delivery date by contacting shipping carrier using the contact information provided.

  • Our carriers update order tracking details within 24-48 hours before delivery.
  • You can then access a consignment number, to track your delivery while in transit.
  • Use the tracking number provided within your dispatch message sent to your email, by Nora Living, on the website provided to you, for this carrier service.

CHANGING THE DATE OF DELIVERY

If you would like to change the delivery time or date before goods are shipped, then you must contact Nora Living customer service representatives, who will inform you whether it is possible or not, for the delivery time or date to be changed.

Provided that the goods have not been dispatched for delivery, you may, before delivery, be able to request a change of the delivery date, or cancel your order by contacting us on 973-732-4678.

CANCELLING ORDER NOT MADE TO SPECIFICATION

When you place an order through Nora Living for standard products which are not made to your specification, you can cancel your order at any time before the goods are shipped to you and we will provide a full refund of the price of the goods and any delivery and other charges which you have incurred.

Remorse cancellation and returns such as customers deciding they do not want the items anymore, may be done within 30 days after the item has been delivered. It is the customer’s responsibility to return the item unused, in good condition and in the original packaging. In this case, a refund will be issued within 7 business days after we receive the item back at our warehouse. Customer is fully responsible for paying the return shipping cost. In the case of remorse cancellation and returns, we would assess and deduct shipping cost we incurred in delivering the goods to the customer originally. This shall be assessed based on the carrier shipping rate. Please note that although we offer free shipping, we still incur shipping costs to have the goods delivered to customers.

HOW TO CANCEL AN ORDER

If you wish to cancel an order, you just need to let us know by sending email to info@noraliving.net to tell us that you have decided to cancel. Once we receive your cancellation request, we will email you to confirm that we have received your cancellation. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS AND ORDER NUMBER WHEN YOU CONTACT US. Whichever way you contact us, the cancellation will take effect on the day we receive it. 

Where you cancel the order after the goods have been delivered, you agree to return the goods to us by following the procedure set out below.

We fully understand that your circumstances may alter and so you have the right to cancel your order as stated above, whereby we request that you put this in writing. Any cancellations made on an order, during or after shipment, may be subject to a charge. Please refer to our refund and return policy here for full information.

If we receive your request to cancel your order, after shipment, or while in transit, you may incur an additional charge to have the goods returned back to our warehouse. If your order has been shipped, please ensure the delivery is marked as refused and a refund will be processed once the goods have been returned back to our warehouse. If delivery has been made by our carriers, this service will incur charges in excess of our standard delivery charges and we reserve the right to deduct these charges from your refund if your order is cancelled after shipment or while in transit. RETURNING YOUR GOODS

If the goods have been delivered to you before you decide to cancel your order, we advise that you return the goods to us without delay.

You agree to return the goods in full and Nora Living also requests that you return the original packaging with the goods where possible. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are defective or not as described, in which case we will refund the full cost you incur in returning the item to us.

If you decide to return goods to us after you have started to assemble them then you should disassemble them to the extent necessary to allow them to be properly returned.

Please be aware that it is our policy to inspect all returned items before refunds can be processed. Inspection helps us determine the condition of the returned items and to assess refund amounts.

TAKING RESPONSIBLE CARE OF THE GOODS

Customers agree to take reasonable care of the goods from the time that they are delivered to you until the time that they are returned.

If you have decided to cancel the order after receiving the items, the goods must be returned to us as soon as possible and in the original packaging. You are the owner of the goods once they have been delivered to you until they are safely returned to us.

Refund will be in full, however if the value of the goods is diminished by any amount as a result of handling of the goods by you beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we may assess an amount equal to the diminished value of the goods.

REFUNDING YOUR MONEY

We will refund the price you paid for the goods and credit the refund you are due to the form of payment that you used. We will make any refunds due to you within 7 days from the date we receive the item back. We would let you know by email when the goods are delivered back to us.

Please be aware that although we process and issue refunds within 7 business days, it might take longer than 7 days for the refunds to appear on the payment method that you used. This time may be affected by factors such as holidays, weekends, and your financial institution’s processing policy.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Please note all items are sent flat packed unless stated otherwise. Upon receiving your goods we recommend you follow the assembly instructions carefully step by step, as we will not be held liable for damage claims due to incorrect assembly.

Curbside delivery is our standard delivery method and is included when you purchase any bulky and other heavy items from us. By curbside delivery, heavy items will arrive unassembled in their original factory boxes. The trucking company will deliver the items to your driveway or entryway, and you will be responsible for entering them into your residence or business. Since items are heavy, you may require assistance from a friend or a family member.

ADDITIONAL PAYMENT INFORMATION

We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods. Warranty Policy

Beginning from the date of delivery, purchased products include manufacturer’s warranty period. In the event of manufacturing defects, the Buyer can request a refund, partial reshipment or full reshipment within the warranty period.

Please note that the warranty policy does not apply to the following situations:
